Keep Up with the Wire
Follow the Registry Wire in any feed reader. Your reader checks for new stories and brings them to you, so there is no need to revisit the site. It is free and anonymous: no account, no email address, nothing to sign up for.
The feed address
Opening the feed itself in a browser shows its raw code. That is expected: the address is meant for a feed reader, not for reading in a browser tab.
How to subscribe
- Choose a feed reader. Desktop and phone apps (NetNewsWire, Reeder, Feeder), web readers (Feedly, Inoreader, The Old Reader) and some email programs, such as Thunderbird, can all follow RSS feeds. Several are free.
- Add the feed. Look for “Add feed”, “Subscribe” or a “+” button, and paste the address above. Many readers also accept
complianceatlas.us.comand find the feed by themselves. - That’s it. New Wire items appear in your reader as they are published. To stop, remove the feed from your reader; there is nothing to cancel here.
What you will receive
- Every new story, including Law Explained, Analysis and Perspectives pieces, when it is published.
- A separate notice when a story has a real development — a new court step, a vote, a status change — labelled Update, Follow-up or Where it stands, with a line saying what is new.
- Each development once. Routine checks that find nothing new are never sent, and an item already in your reader does not come back as new.
Every item links to its permanent entry in the News Archive, so links keep working after a story leaves the front page.
Privacy
Following the feed needs no account and no email address, and ComplianceAtlas keeps no list of subscribers. The feed contains no tracking code, and its links carry no tracking tags. Like any website, our server sees the request your feed reader makes when it checks for new items: from a desktop or phone app that is your own connection, from a web reader it is the reader’s service. The site’s web pages, unlike the feed, use Google Analytics.
